This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity in a dynamic telecom industry setting. You will be instrumental in managing and processing customer credit applications, maintaining customer credit records, and effectively resolving customer credit inquiries. Responsibilities: • Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner • Maintain precise customer credit records and manage daily cash postings • Analyze remittance information to apply customer payments accurately and reconcile customer accounts • Balance and reconcile spreadsheets that track daily cash application by division • Prepare weekly and monthly customer statements and handle weekly credit card processing for customer accounts • Communicate with internal and external accounting personnel to resolve routine to moderately difficult customer account issues and discrepancies • Distribute short pay credit memos and supporting detail to appropriate accounting personnel • Monitor, process, and eliminate appropriate chargebacks and unapplied cash from customer accounts • Assist in facilitating ongoing vendor communication including but not limited to new vendor setup, existing vendor payment terms updates, payment discrepancies research • Investigate and perform collection calls for delinquent accounts
